Getty Images The Yankees loved seeing reports about model and gymnast Livvy Dunne, the girlfriend of Pirates superstar pitcher and frequent Yankees target Paul Skenes, trying to buy Babe Ruth’s old apartment on the Upper West Side last summer.
Yankees people noted the Ruth link with deep interest and hoped it meant Skenes wanted to be fitted for pinstripes.
But if it does, Skenes sure isn’t saying that.

But with Skenes in town, I thought I’d ask him if the Yankees are onto something, if he really does desire to be with baseball’s marquee franchise eventually.
