Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Thursday there would be a response to a Russian strike that hit two buses in the frontline city of Kramatorsk, killing 30 people and wounding 18 others. France 24's Andrew Hilliar says it comes a bid a growing number of Russian attacks on civilians in the country, with UN figures showing that more civilians had been killed in Ukraine as of August this year than in all of 2025.
