Ravens QB Lamar Jackson Snubbed in Yet Another Offseason Ranking

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson missed four games due to injury last season, and it seems the NFL world is punishing him for it.
Jackson’s “Madden” rating dropped from 99 overall a year ago to 94 this year, and he saw a drastic drop in his ranking in the annual NFL 100 list, which is voted on by the active players in the league.
The two-time MVP was ranked No. 2 overall on the list in 2025 but dropped all the way to No. 69 this year . The 67-spot drop didn’t seem to bother Jackson, who recently shrugged off the whole situation.
“It is what it is,” Jackson said. “You know, I play football. I don’t care about rankings.”
But those weren’t the only instanced that Jackson was seemingly disrespected this offseason.
In its recent NFL 1000 list, Bleacher Report ranked the top quarterbacks heading into the 2026 season. Jackson was ranked No. 7 overall in the “Pro Bowl Caliber” tier.
Jackson has the second-highest win percentage (.690) among active QBs, and none of the other passers in that tier — Bo Nix, Brock Purdy, Jordan Love, Dak Prescott, and Drake Maye — have won an MVP.
Jackson has just as much right to be in the “All-Pro Ability” tier as the five signal-callers who actually made it — Joe Burrow (No. 5), Patrick Mahomes (No. 4), Justin Herbert (No. 3), Josh Allen (No. 2), Matthew Stafford (No. 1).
It could be argued that only Mahomes, who has two MVP awards and three Super Bowl championships, and Stafford, who has one MVP and one Super Bowl ring, have better resume’s than Jackson currently does.
