NFL legend Rob Gronkowski has high praise and some simple advice for Caitlin Clark: "Keep shutting up the haters" with her play.
Amid the rampant discourse about Clark that has dominated the internet, Gronkowski told Fox News Digital in a recent interview that she’s doing a "great job" of handling it all.
"She's doing a great job handling herself. She really is. I'm not in her shoes. I'm not in her situation. If I was, though, I would kind of handle it very similar to how she's handling it. She really is doing a great job," Gronkowski told Fox News Digital in a recent interview.

"I would just say one piece of advice, keep balling because if you keep balling, you're going to keep shutting up the haters."
The Indiana Fever have won their last four games, and Clark has been great, averaging just over 30 points per game during that winning streak. While Clark has been good, so have her teammates, as Kelsey Mitchell and Aliyah Boston have both been key contributors.
Gronkowski praised Clark’s teammates for supporting her throughout the season.
"What I do appreciate, what she's going to need to help with is her teammates. That's who's going to lift you up. If you've got your teammates protecting you, that says a lot right there. It really does. And she does. Her team does pick her up. They protect her as well, and that's huge," Gronkowski told Fox News Digital on behalf of eBay.

"That says a lot about your personality and about who you are throughout the season, how you practice, how you prepare, is that if your teammates are behind you, you know that doing the right things."
Gronkowski said Clark will truly be the face of the WNBA once the league steps in and does something about the hard fouls she has received , in addition to winning something significant.
"I think she's going to be the face eventually, like truly where the WNBA steps in and they're like, ‘Okay, like enough of all this wishwashing that's going on with her and the punishment that that she's taking out on the basketball court. Let's truly make her to face the league. I think I would say it once she keeps balling out and also wins something pretty significant," Gronkowski said.
The New England Patriots legend said he isn’t a diehard fan and is more of a casual fan of the WNBA. He talked about how in the NFL and NBA, you don’t become the face of the league until you have about "four or five years under their belt."

Gronkowski, a four-time Super Bowl champion, is one of the greatest tight ends of all time. He spent nine seasons with the Patriots before retiring in 2019. He came out of retirement in 2020 and played with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Tom Brady for two seasons before retiring again.
In 11 seasons, the five-time Pro Bowler caught 621 receptions for 9,286 yards and 92 touchdowns.
Clark and the Fever will look to keep it rolling when they play the Portland Fire on Friday at 10 p.m. ET.
