One Hospitalized in Bronx Shooting Involving Federal Agents, NYPD Says

One person is in the hospital and currently conscious following a shooting that involved federal law enforcement agents in the Bronx borough of New York City, the New York City Police Department (NYPD) said.
The incident occurred around 4 p.m. in the Marble Hill neighborhood on Thursday, police said in a post to X, adding that their officers were not involved.
"The NYPD is not involved at all," a police spokesman told Newsweek , referring additional inquiries to Department of Homeland Security (DHS) officials.
Newsweek reached out to New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani's Office and DHS for additional information.
