Two police officers were shot Wednesday after gunfire rang out in downtown Minneapolis, officials said.
Minneapolis police officers were at the scene of the shooting, which involved "multiple victims," the city said, including the two law enforcement officers.

"My public safety team is responding to a shooting that took place downtown Minneapolis this afternoon," Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz wrote on X. "State officials are on the ground to support local law enforcement and we will share more information as it becomes available."
