French swimming star Léon Marchand won the 200-meter butterfly final at the European Swimming Championships on Saturday in Paris.

Two years after his achievements at the Paris Olympics , the Toulouse native won in style with a time of 1 minute 51.72 seconds, well ahead of Hungary ’s Richard Marton (1 minute 54.06 seconds) and Greece ’s Apostolos Siskos (1 minute 54.13 seconds).
