Von Miller Teases Bills Return With Cryptic Instagram Post

The 37-year-old is currently a free agent, and while he’s been linked to a few teams over the last few weeks, Miller is seemingly hinting he’s interested in returning to one of his former teams for a second go-around.
Miller posted a photo of himself in his Bills uniform on his Instagram story with the caption “Unfinished Business 🏆” with the song “In the Air Tonight” by Phil Collins playing in the background.
Miller’s post prompted fans on social media to speculate that he was hinting at a possible future reunion with the Bills. However, general manager Brandon Beane poured cold water on the idea.
“I talk to Von all the time, we’re buds,” Beane told reporters . “I love Von. You could name 10 other ex-Bills hat if everything lined up right you wouldn’t say no to a guy like that. But beyond that, there’s nothing imminent [happening on that front].”
Miller player three seasons with the Bills from 2022 to 2024, though he had a pretty underwhelming run in the eyes of fans, many of whom took to social media to express they didn’t want to see Buffalo bring Miller back.
“He ought to play for free the way he robbed us last time,” one fan exclaimed.
“He can come back for a dozen wings from bar bill and a Ted’s Hot Dog. That’s about all I’d pay him at this point,” another fan quipped.
“[Expletive] no. He ROBBED us and we were in cap hell because of him,” a third fan noted.
“I’ll pass. So little effort when he was a Bill,” remarked one user.
“Please, no. @VonMiller has NO PLACE in Buffalo,” proclaimed another.
The team signed Miller to a six-year, $120 million contract in free agency, but he tore his ACL, which made him miss games in 2022 and 2023, and he was suspended for four games in 2024 for violating the NFL ’s personal conduct policy.
He was released in 2025 — three years and $47 million after signing his record deal — and finished with 93 pressures, 66 hurries, 14 sacks, 10 QB hits, and one forced fumble in 37 games with Buffalo, per Pro Football Focus.
