Rams WR Puka Nacua Leaves Practice With Undisclosed Injury

Puka Nacua left the Los Angeles Rams ' joint practice with the Dallas Cowboys accompanied by training camp staff on Tuesday, according to team insider Lindsey Thiry of ESPN.
When asked by reporters, Rams head coach Sean McVay said he has no update regarding the nature of Nacua's injury.
Nacua led the league in receptions through Matthew Stafford's MVP season in 2025, reeling in 129 catches for 1,715 yards and 10 touchdowns in 16 regular-season games. The former fifth-round pick is an integral cog in McVay's pass-heavy offense.
Nacua's departure from practice came just hours after ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter reported that the superstar wide receiver could miss the start of the 2026 season due to league suspension.
In addition to Nacua leaving early, superstar pass rusher Myles Garrett did not participate in Tuesday's practice due to swelling in his knee. However, McVay said the reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year is at 85% as he prepares for his first season with the Rams in 2026.
The Rams will begin their preseason schedule with a matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs on Saturday afternoon.
