The New York Jets shared an odd post on social media during the team’s Week 4 loss to the Chicago Bears on Sunday and it left sports radio legend Mike Francesa just as confused as anyone else.
The Jets’ social media hyped up running back Braelon Allen’s 26 rushing yards on four consecutive attempts to start the second half. New York, at that point, was down 13-3.

Francesa appeared on NBC Sports’ "Fanta in 60" and was asked about the post. First, he didn’t think it was real.
"I’m not familiar with this. You’re saying the Jets themselves … Now, I don’t know if that’s real or not. In this day and age, we don’t know what’s real or what’s not. That’s a big problem in every part of news, including sports," Francesa said. "But if it is real and that’s the first I’ve seen of it, let me just explain one thing to you as someone who has been around the Jets, viewed the Jets, and know the Jets very well – the Jets can screw up a one-car funeral.
"They are a mess. They are terribly run – from the owner on down. So, nothing they would do that is stupid would ever surprise me. The bottom line is, and I don’t know if that’s real. … I don’t know how you verify it, but if it is real, OK, in this day and age, because of what we’re living through, we don’t know what’s real and what’s not real and that’s a big problem, but if it is, nothing they would do would ever surprise me."

The post is real and was still up on X as of Wednesday. It appears we are long gone from the Jets and the New York Giants celebrating being 1-0 together for the first time in a dog’s age.
Jubilation from the Jets after ending their interception drought quickly went downhill.
The Bears held the ball for 42 minutes and 15 seconds. The Jets only had the ball for 17 minutes and 15 seconds. Chicago ran 89 plays to New York’s 32. Chicago linebacker Devin Bush even said it was one of the "easiest" games he ever played in the NFL.
