The ESPN NFL draft analyst was involved in a horrific car crash weeks ago that left him in critical condition and resulted in him having his left arm amputated.
And just as a GoFundMe that was set up to help with his medical expenses had reached the $50,000 mark, fans started coming forward with stories of Miller allegedly scamming them out of thousands of dollars that were supposed to be paid out for fantasy football winnings in leagues that Miller was reportedly the commissioner of.
The GoFundMe has since been paused and it’s not known if Miller has accessed the funds raised by it or not.
ESPN placed Miller on leave last week — a move that was a result of his recovery and not because of the allegations against him, according to Awful Announcing — and on Tuesday, video of Miller’s accident found its way to social media, and it didn’t paint him in a good light.
The alleged video shows Miller’s Ford Bronco crossing a double yellow line and veering into the lane of an oncoming semi-truck.
Miller attempted to swerve back into his lane, but his vehicle clipped the POV driver, resulting in the damage seen from the photo of his wreck that was previously released on social media.
Fortunately, the driver of the semi was not injured in the crash.
No explanation as to why Miller was swerving has been given, but it appears that the accident that cost him his left arm was seemingly caused by him.
According to a crash report obtained by the California Post, Miller was wearing his seat belt, however, it was reportedly cut during the collision and Miller was ejected from his vehicle.
The injuries Miller suffered were significant including the loss of his left arm, a compound fracture to his left femur, a shattered kneecap, and several broken ribs, according to the GoFundMe page.
